PUĀWAI RANGATAHI MENTAL HEALTH PODCAST

What if we passed the mic to rangatahi and really listened?

The Puāwai Podcast is a bold new kaupapa from Hauora Aotearoa, giving rangatahi the space, support, and mātauranga to lead their own mental health solutions. Born from the belief that young people know what works for them, this podcast is part of a wider seven-month journey where ten rōpū of rangatahi design and launch their own wellbeing initiatives.

Set to air across Matariki, the Puāwai Podcast is a soft launch of ideas rooted in lived experience, cultural strength, and creative brilliance. This is real change, led by the very voices it’s meant to serve.

Whiu i te rākau kōrero. Let’s hear what they have to say.

Coming this October...

The Puāwai Summit is where it all comes to life.

After months of dreaming, designing and doing, ten rōpū of rangatahi will take the stage in Whanganui to launch their mental health kaupapa to the world.

Part of Mental Health Awareness Week, the Summit is a celebration of rangatahi leadership, mātauranga Māori, and bold solutions that will shape the future of wellbeing in Aotearoa.

This isn’t just a talkfest. This is rangatahi in action.
