KAUPAPA | PROGRAMME
We take a bottom-up, trauma-informed approach to sharing Te Whare Tapa Whā tools with disengaged rangatahi in secondary schools. They learn how to know where they are at and what to do. (coping with change, managing emotions, and building relationships). For some, our kaupapa is a connection to te ao Māori, to whakapapa, to te reo rangatira… Tā Mason Durie gifted us our name and the call to action: “Live well. Learn well. Lead well!”
WHO IS IT FOR?
Our programme is designed for schools concerned about:
Student behaviour
Disengagement
Absenteeism
Teacher burnout and resilience
If these issues resonate with your school, our kaupapa can support both your rangatahi and kaiako by transforming how they manage their hauora.
How it works:
For Your Rangatahi:
15 Weekly Sessions: Led by expert facilitators. These sessions provide daily wellbeing tools and valuable leadership experience.
For Your Staff:

NCEA Credits: Students have the opportunity to earn 15 NCEA Level 3 credits.
Preschool Engagement: They gain leadership experience by teaching preschoolers.
For Your School:
Comprehensive Report: Receive detailed insights showing improvements in behaviour, engagement, absenteeism and overall wellbeing.
